SABAK
Quality Policy
Health Sciences Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (SABAK) which aims to raise the quality of health sciences education in Turkey has adopted the basic principle to carry out its activities in line with the philosophy of continuous improvement and total quality and to meet the expectations of higher education institutions providing education in health sciences. SABAK will adhere to the following values in order to keep the quality of the services provided at the highest level
Service Orientation: SABAK employees and volunteers establish and maintain a respectful and compassionate relationship with all institutions they serve. They are sensitive to their current needs and expectations. They are aware that the last institution that evaluates the quality of the services is the institutions receiving the service.
Continuous Learning: Continuous learning is a prerequisite for continuous improvement. For this reason, SABAK constantly learns from both its own activities and performance and the experiences of other similar institutions. The development of employees and volunteers is supported and encouraged in a way that creates an environment for them to realize and use their full potential.
Creating Value: SABAK provides services that will create added value for its stakeholders, especially the institutions it serves. The added value of the service is monitored through direct feedback. In particular, SABAK evaluation teams try to provide useful feedback for the continuous improvement of health sciences education and evaluation process.
Collaboration Development: Maximizing the value offered and increasing the success depends on the development of cooperation. For this reason, SABAK seeks and develops cooperation opportunities with national and international organizations. For a sustainable cooperation, it is essential to have shared goals among cooperation partners, to share expertise, resources and information, to work together and to establish a relationship based on mutual trust, respect and openness.
Ethical Behavior: SABAK employees and volunteers have adopted a high level of ethical approach, as individuals with responsibility towards stakeholders, ready to be transparent and accountable. Therefore, they act professionally by avoiding conflict of interest within the framework of SABAK Code of Ethics.
Transparency and Accountability: SABAK is responsible for informing and accountability to all its stakeholders and to the public, particularly on program evaluation and accreditation activities.
